Jourdan Dunn was born 3 August 1990 in London, England. She is a "top selling" Fashion model. She was discovered in Hammersmith Primark in 2006 and signed to Storm Management in London shortly thereafter. In 2008, she was the first black model to walk a Prada runway in over a decade. She has attracted attention because of the lack of black models in the fashion modelling industry. As Sarah Doukas, head of Storm Management, said, "I feel, if she does have great success, she will have a big effect on the way people look at different kinds of beauty". This girl has the longest resume I know and it gets longer by the day because designers just don't get enough of her runway charm and no-non-sense attitude. She said in a recent i-D interview, There are loads of black models working and the idea that there's only a few of us, or four of us, to let in as top models at any one time is just bullshit.” No non-sense, definitely! The other reason we love her so much at this time is that her birthday is just close by, she's a fiesty LEO (so am I). That's no wonder she is so firery.
