The picks I have taken from this Fashion Week Party were solely based on my interests, my favorite color is black so now you might understand why this piece is so blacked. From black, it's ugly boot...too much love for those. The next item on our list is that charming red number, pure class! I have to admit the PETA crowd is my favorite crowd, so now I have to work on that invite on the Summer/Spring shows. New York here I come!
...a little about PETA
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is the largest animal rights organization in the world, with more than 2 million members and supporters and I am both.
PETA focuses its attention on the four areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer the most intensely for the longest periods of time: on factory farms, in the clothing trade, in laboratories, and in the entertainment industry. We also work on a variety of other issues, including the cruel killing of beavers, birds, and other "pests" as well as cruelty to domesticated animals.
The fashion industry is one of the most money-making industries in the world and its trends and influences sometimes ends with cruelty of animals in order to achieve certain rare pieces of garment. Chinchillas are one of the most seeked animals for the warm luxurious fur and PETA is here to say, ''Hey, that animal has a family too. Who's gonna take care of momma Chinchi and baby Chinchi when you kill papa Chinchi for that $16, 000 Coat that you're probably going to wear just once.'' We stand by animals, big or small, pretty or unattractive, charming or arrogant for they have no voices of their own.
